Kyiv’s satellite – Boryspil is a modern city, which, however, has a number of interesting sights. All of them are to be found alongside the main street. The stylish building of the Museum of History and Local Lore (cannot but catch one’s eye. Exhibits in its seven rooms elucidate the millennial history of Letch (former name of Boryspil). The majestic cathedral is an adornment of the city. It is situated at the turning to Cherkasy. Beside the temple there is a memorial sign commemorating Taras Shevchenko’s visit to the city. In Knyshiv cemetery there is the monument at the grave of P.Chubynsky, the author of the national anthem of Ukraine.
